Chemical Permit Support

Chemical Risk Assessment and Permit Support

Offshore developments in the oil and gas industry require a series of permits appropriate to the operations being undertaken. These operations are permitted under the Portal Environmental Tracking System (PETS) administered by DECC.

At BMT Cordah we work with our clients from the planning stage through to permit submission offering guidance, support and preparation of all required documents.

We strive for excellence and have regular detailed discussions with the statutory consultees and DECC regarding the permitting system (Portal Environmental Tracking System or PETS).  We recognise the tight deadlines to which the offshore industry works and offer a fast turnaround service ensuring compliance and attainment of company goals and expectations.

Our Services

All types of applications and variations are prepared with hundreds of submissions each year compiled by an experienced and knowledgeable team. The new PETS system seeks to integrate the old style PON15 applications under one centralised Master Application Template (‘MAT’) which will be applied for under the following activity headings:

  • Drilling Application (DRA)
  • Pipeline Application (PLA)
  • Production Application (PRA)
  • Well Intervention Application (WIA)
  • Stand Alone Application
