Developing Partnerships
For many years BMT has pioneered the integration of advanced research with user-orientated software systems. At BMT Cordah Ltd's offices in Southampton, UK, a team of marine environmental scientists, oceanographers, marine pollution specialists, numerical scientists and software engineers have been brought together focused at the integration of environmental science and software systems technology.
Partnering with world leading research centres has been essential to the development of BMT Cordah's diverse range of applications. Relationships with AEA Technology plc. (oil and chemical spill), the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory (regional modelling, pollution) and a number of UK and Asian universities (geochemistry, physical modelling, coastal survey) underpin leading edge technical excellence in all applications. Strategic research is focussed through BMT's Chair in Marine Informatics at the NERC Earth Systems Science Centre at Reading University, ensuring a continuous programme of strategic science to support the development of new applications.
BMT Cordah is looking to develop further partnerships which can enhance our research and knowledge base.
