New Glasgow Office Opens in Glasgow City Centre
BMT Cordah Ltd and AEDAS AHR Landscape and Environmental Ltd

The Edinburgh office has expanded its operations into the west of Scotland marketplace to support and extend its existing client base. Although only separated by 40 miles of motorway, we feel that the Glasgow marketplace will be better serviced from a local base. The Glasgow sub-office has now opened as part of a reciprocal agreement with Aedas, based in its Cadogan Square offices in the centre of Glasgow. Aedas is currently the eighth largest architectural practice in the UK and together with BMT Cordah can offer a more comprehensive service than conventional consultancies. Derek Schoehuys is managing this important step in the continuing growth of the Edinburgh office. In particular, BMT Cordah is extending its environmental consultancy capability in the areas of Pollution Prevention & Control and air quality. The Glasgow office recently provided a training facility to host Air Quality training for nine local authorities in the central belt of Scotland.

Similarly, Aedas is expanding in the East and its Director of Landscape Services is working within the BMT Cordah offices in Edinburgh. The aim of this concordat is to create synergy between BMT Cordah and Aedas Landscape and Environment providing customers with a comprehensive and cost effective service. Aedas was previously called Holford Associates and has over 40 years experience in the landscape design of roads and bridges. By placing a director alongside BMT Cordah it is the initial intention to develop a joint capability based around the provision of integrated environmental solutions to current development problems particularly associated with infrastructure works and their environmental assessment.
