Work-related highlights include a significant body of work won in Central/Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Amongst the projects completed have been the first Annual Monitoring Report for one of the world's largest oil and gas condensate fields, in NW Kazakstan, and a compliance review of the environmental and social documentation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. In November, 2003 work started on the solid waste component of an 18 month project in Kosovo. Additional work on waste management and development of environmental impact assessment regulations and procedures will be initiated throughout 2004.
Domestically, considerable progress has been made in winning work related to the renewable energy sector, particularly wind and hydro-power. This stands us in good stead for work winning in the 'soon to be' burgeoning offshore renewable energy sector. The prospects for the year ahead will be diverse, challenging and rewarding.
