| BMT Cordah has a wealth of experience in providing environmental services to public sector clients. Its services include Local Air Quality Management (LAQM), reviews of planning applications and support with climate change programmes.
With extensive experience in LAQM, BMT Cordah has assisted an impressive number of local authorities in satisfying the Scottish Government requirements. We have successfully completed review and assessment reports for 20 local authorities, covering all stages of the LAQM process including Detailed and Further Assessments, and Air Quality Action Plans. BMT Cordah provides support to local authorities in reviewing planning applications for new developments e.g. biomass. We also have the expertise to review environmental impact assessment reports and complex air quality assessments included in support of planning applications. We understand that local authorities do not always have the resources to assess these fully. The reviews can be comprehensive or can simply ensure compliance with LAQM strategies.
