BMT Cordah Environmental Consultancy at the Scottish Renewables Onshore Wind Seminar Glasgow

13-Apr-2010

Scotland is on course to meet its target of supplying 31% of electricity demand from renewables by 2011, and the 2020 target of 50% is within reach. The lion's share of this generation will come from onshore wind. As the development of onshore wind farms in Scotland continues to grow, undertaking a sound Environmental Impact Assessment has never been more salient. This seminar explores the key considerations to be taken during the preparation of an EIA, reflects on existing and emerging policy and guidance, and provides good practice advice to delegates on conducting the EIA process.

The event is taking place on the 20th April at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow. BMT Cordah environmental consultants will be exhibiting our renewable energy capability including EIA, ecology and noise. We look forward to meeting you at our stand.
