BMT Defence Services appoints new Head of Marketing

BMT Defence Services Ltd, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, has appointed Michael Webb as its new Head of Marketing.
Michael commented: "I'm delighted to join BMT Defence Services, which I know is widely respected as a centre of excellence for engineering. It's an exciting time to be part of BMT, as we expand in new markets and develop more of our own innovative designs, such as the recently unveiled Aegir, Vidar-36 and Caimen-200.
"I want to strengthen our market research and analysis, further integrate our technical, financial and marketing processes, enhance and focus our marketing and develop existing and new naval, land and air markets."
Michael previously held senior management positions in organisations such as Capita Consulting, Lockheed Martin, the Society of British Aerospace Companies, British Aerospace Defence and Jane's. His areas of responsibility have included: market research and policy; consultancy; business development; and project, programme, risk, change and strategic management.
In addition Michael has 30 years' experience in the Regular and Territorial Army and has been a visiting lecturer at Cranfield University, School of Defence Administration.
